Don Arnold

Co-Director of Coaching. Also coaches U11-U14 age teams in Select program.


Don Arnold has been the head coach at Grafton High School with the boys program since 1992 and the girls since 1994. Under his coaching the Black Hawks have had over 600 victories, 42 combined regional and sectional championships, 14 State tournament appearances, 5 State runner up and a State championship. Don has coached at many Masonic Senior All-Star games. Numerous Black Hawk players have gone on to play Division 1,2 and 3 college soccer. Don is very proud that many of his players have come back to coach with him at Grafton High School, the Grafton Soccer Club and the Fusion Soccer Club. 

Don has coached with the Grafton Soccer club since 1990 developing players from U5-U18. In 2009, Grafton Soccer Club named Don Arnold our Director of Soccer.  Don also coaches select teams through Fusion and works with the U5-U6 program and the recreational teams in Grafton. He has a fantastic reputation in the Wisconsin soccer community as an extremely knowledgeable coach with a genuine focus on the kids. Don has ran and worked at many youth and high school camps with the focus of developing great players and great people. HEART*PASSION*DESIRE are 3 characteristics that Don instills in his players.

We're very proud to have Don co-directing our Fusion soccer programs; his hard work and love for the game has not gone unnoticed.  In 1998, Don was named the NSCAA Midwest Coach of the Year and was a national finalist.  He has been named the NSCAA Coach of the Year two times, as well as received the WYSA Coach of the Year award in 2006.
